- Seats are not reserved. Latecomers will not be eligible for Priority Seating.
CALGARY EXPO and The Resplendent Cave invite you to join our adventuring party. Whether you’re new to Dungeons & Dragons or are a level 20 player, this event welcomes adventurers from all realms and skill levels to join in, become a hero, and battle monsters. Choose one of two sessions to join, and prepare to experience magical, high-fantasy tabletop gaming.
CAVERNS OF FUZANGLONG - FRIDAY, APRIL 25 | 7:00 PM START TIME
LAKE OF XUANWU - SATURDAY, APRIL 26 | 2:30 PM START TIME
If you want to bring your own character:
- 5th (2024) edition D&D ruleset
- Level 5 characters
- Ability Scores will be generated by Standard Array or Point Buy
- Only official content published by Wizard of the Coast is allowed
- No races with innate flying, hovering or gliding speed
- Characters start with basic equipment and no magic items
- Any item cards earned from previous events are allowed
- Pre-made characters will be available upon arrival

Cavern of Fuzanglong
D&D Mega Events
In the Land of the Serpentine Gods, Lord Shenlong holds a contest to determine who is worthy to become his next champion.
You and your party have accepted his challenge, and your first task is to obtain a piece of jade from the cavern of the Dragon of Secrets and Treasures, Fuzanglong. This mega-event brings together over 40 players to collaboratively clear a dungeon and defeat one powerful monster together.

Lake of Xuanwu

In the Land of the Serpentine Gods, The Celestial Dragon, Lord Shenlong, selects a mortal to become his champion to carry out his will on the material plane. Once that mortal has served for 100 years, they ascend to the heavenly court as a Xian (immortal) and on the eve of their ascension a new mortal is chosen to become Shenlong's new vassal. Your party has accepted Shenlong’s challenge to become his next vassal.
The Black Tortoise sleeps beneath a frozen lake. You and your party enter Xuanwu's ancient temple, and intend return with a piece of the Black Tortoise's shell to prove your worthiness in becoming Shenlong's vassal. This mega-event brings together over 40 players to collaboratively clear a dungeon and defeat one powerful monster together.
